Sidney Starr Claims Teen Told Her He Was 18 as Police Report Says Open Condom Was Found During Child Molestation Arrest

Sidney Starr is maintaining that she believed the male she brought back to her hotel room was an adult, as new details continue to emerge following her arrest on multiple felony charges in Georgia.

According to a Hapeville Police Department incident report obtained by TMZ, Sidney Starr told officers that a tall, slender male approached her in the lobby of the Embassy Suites hotel and complimented her, telling her she was “cute.” Starr claimed the two spoke briefly before returning to her hotel room together.

Police say Starr told investigators she asked the male how old he was and that he responded he was 18 years old.

However, authorities say the individual was actually under the age of 16, leading to Starr’s arrest on charges including aggravated child molestation, sexual battery against a child under 16, and sodomy.

The police report also states that while officers conducted a pat-down following her detention, an opened condom reportedly fell from her clothing, and officers allegedly found another condom in her pocket.

According to investigators, hotel staff contacted police after receiving a report that a juvenile had been sexually assaulted at the Embassy Suites. Officers interviewed the minor and his parents before speaking with Starr.

Police have previously alleged that Starr admitted to performing oral sex on the minor. She has since publicly denied the allegations, insisting she is innocent and intends to vigorously fight the charges through the legal system.

Starr remains in custody at the Fulton County Jail as prosecutors continue building their case. Law enforcement has stated that, because the case involves a juvenile, few additional details will be released publicly.

As the legal proceedings move forward, the allegations remain just that—allegations—and the case has yet to be adjudicated in court.
