Looks like Remy Ma had more than one target on her mind when she stepped into the booth for the new French Montana and Max B remix.

The remix, released June 5, features a Bronx-heavy lineup celebrating the New York Knicks’ historic NBA Finals run, with artists rocking Knicks jerseys throughout the visual. While the record was intended to capture New York pride, it was Remy’s lyrics that immediately stole the spotlight.

Fans quickly pointed to several bars that appeared to be directed at her estranged husband Papoose and his girlfriend, boxing champion Claressa Shields.

One of the most talked-about lines was:

“Told him find something stupid to play with, he picked you.”

Many listeners interpreted the lyric as a direct jab at Claressa amid the ongoing public drama surrounding her relationship with Papoose.

Remy also raised eyebrows with another line:

“Come pick up your clothes.”

The bar fueled further speculation that she was addressing her split from Papoose and the highly publicized fallout between the former couple.

Remy wasn’t finished there.

Another lyric that sparked controversy was:

“I went Fox on a wack b**ch.”

Many fans interpreted the line as a reference to legendary Brooklyn rapper Foxy Brown. Critics online accused Remy of mocking Foxy’s well-documented hearing issues after the rap icon underwent surgery in 2006 in an effort to restore her hearing following severe hearing loss.

The fans are dissecting every line on social media, many are wondering whether responses from Foxy or Claressa are on the way.
