Coach Prime is officially back on 10! 👣🔥

Four years after undergoing an amputation that resulted in the loss of two toes, Deion Sanders has received prosthetic toes and is learning how to walk with them.

Sanders’ son, Deion Jr., shared a video on social media Wednesday showing the moment his father received his replacement toes.

When a hospital employee told Sanders, “Your toes are in here,” the Colorado Buffaloes coach joked that they were “wrapped up like they’re a gift.” 🎁😂

After opening the package, Sanders immediately checked out his new toes, complimenting the toenail and joking about how hilarious the entire experience was. Once he learned how to put them on, Coach Prime proudly looked into the camera and declared:

Sanders also joked that he can now get back into his size 11.5 shoes, while pointing out how well the prosthetic toes matched his skin tone.

The NFL Hall of Famer kept the mood light, joking that his new toes and existing toes “haven’t made friends yet.” 😂 He said they need to spend more time together before they get comfortable.

But beneath the jokes was a moment of gratitude. Sanders thanked everyone involved in helping him receive the prosthetics and get back to walking.

“It’s a blessing,” he said.

Sanders underwent the amputation in 2022 after developing three life-threatening blood clots in his leg following surgery. At the time, doctors considered the possibility of a larger amputation, but Sanders ultimately recovered.

The Colorado coach also revealed last year that he had been diagnosed with bladder cancer. After undergoing surgery, Sanders announced in June that he was cancer-free.

Now, Coach Prime is focused on moving forward — one step and two new toes at a time. 👣🙏🏾
