BIGGIE’S SON C.J. QUESTIONS GRANDMOTHER VOLETTA WALLACE’S FINAL WILL! “SOMETHING DOESN’T SEEM RIGHT”

The Wallace family estate battle is heating up. 👀⚖️

Christopher Wallace Jr., son of the late rap legend The Notorious B.I.G., is challenging an amendment to his grandmother Voletta Wallace’s will, claiming it was drastically changed just 15 days before her death.

According to court documents, Christopher says Voletta died in February 2025 and was survived by him and his sister. Her son, Biggie, was famously killed in 1997.

Christopher says his grandmother previously executed a will in 2020 that distributed several valuable belongings, including her fur collection, jewelry, Biggie’s music awards, a Mercedes-Benz SUV, property in Jamaica and other assets.

According to his filing, the 2020 will largely left those belongings to Christopher and his sister, while also leaving certain items to Voletta’s brother.

The earlier will also reportedly directed Voletta’s interest in the company managing Biggie’s estate to her foundation.

Voletta had acquired a 50% interest in Biggie’s company following her son’s death and managed the interest alongside Biggie’s widow, Faith Evans, until Voletta’s passing.

But Christopher says everything changed shortly before his grandmother died.

He claims that 15 days before her death, Voletta signed an amendment that removed her grandchildren as beneficiaries and appointed Wayne Barrow, a former manager of Biggie, as executor of the estate.

Christopher is now asking a judge to declare the amendment invalid and immediately remove Barrow as executor.

In his court filing, Christopher claims his grandmother was experiencing declining health during her final days, was taking numerous medications and was frequently confined to bed.

He also questioned the signatures appearing on the amendment, describing them as “facially inconsistent” with Voletta’s other signatures and arguing that they deserve further examination, potentially by an expert.

Importantly, these are Christopher’s allegations in court filings, and the validity of the amendment remains a matter for the court to decide.

The latest legal fight comes after Wayne Barrow reportedly scored a victory in a separate dispute involving Faith Evans, with a judge ruling that Evans had to provide Barrow access to Voletta’s portion of profits from Biggie’s trust.

Christopher’s challenge could potentially affect who has authority over Voletta’s estate and her interest in Biggie-related assets.

Sources familiar with that separate case say Faith Evans has nothing to gain financially from Christopher’s current challenge and is holding the funds while the courts determine the appropriate recipient.

For now, the question before the court is whether Voletta’s final amendment was valid — and whether Christopher and his sister were improperly removed from their grandmother’s estate.

The legacy of Biggie’s estate continues to make headlines decades after his death. 👀⚖️
