Gervonta Davis Gets Corrections Department Escort as He Bonds Out of Jail Following Domestic Violence Arrest

Gervonta “Tank” Davis has been released from jail following his latest arrest on a domestic violence charge in Miami. The boxing superstar was granted release after posting a $10,000 bond — but not before being escorted out by the Department of Corrections, marking yet another chapter in his ongoing legal troubles.

The 30-year-old fighter was taken into custody after a license plate reader flagged his vehicle in Miami Beach. Police conducted a traffic stop and subsequently handed Davis over to the Doral Police Department, who had an open warrant for his arrest tied to a June 15 incident involving his ex-girlfriend.

Davis was booked at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, where he remained until posting bond. A court hearing has been set for July 29.

This is not Davis’ first run-in with the law over domestic violence allegations. The boxer has previously been arrested twice on similar charges, sparking concern among fans and critics over his repeated legal issues outside the ring.

While Davis has yet to make a public statement regarding the latest charges, the incident is casting a shadow over his career — and putting renewed scrutiny on the undefeated fighter’s behavior away from boxing.
