🥊🚫 Case Closed! Gervonta Davis Domestic Violence Charges Dropped After Victim & Witness Refuse to Cooperate

Gervonta “Tank” Davis is officially in the clear in his recent domestic violence case. TMZ Sports confirmed that the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office has dropped all charges against the boxing champ after the alleged victim — the mother of his two children — and her key witness, her mother, both refused to cooperate.

According to prosecutors, the victim’s attorney, Lindsey Chase, informed them she would not move forward with the case. The Assistant State Attorney personally confirmed her decision. The alleged victim’s mother, who was also listed as a witness, skipped a subpoenaed pre-file conference and couldn’t be reached by phone for follow-ups.

On top of that, the responding police officer didn’t witness the alleged incident, removing him as a possible witness altogether.

The case stemmed from a Father’s Day dispute in June, when Davis allegedly struck the mother of his kids while picking them up. She claimed he hit her in the back of the head, slapped her in the face, and caused a minor lip injury. Davis was arrested in July — but now, the charges are history.

With the legal matter behind him, the star boxer can shift his focus back to the ring… and away from the courtroom.
