Diddy’s Prison Release Date Pushed Back After Reported Jailhouse Brawl, Federal Records Show New 2028 Date

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ time behind bars is now expected to last a little longer after his federal prison release date was pushed back following a reported incident inside the facility.

According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Diddy’s projected release date is now listed as February 20, 2028 — just days after his release date had reportedly been moved up from February to January.

The change comes after reports surfaced that the music mogul was involved in a jailhouse altercation at the federal facility where he is serving his sentence. Following the reported brawl, Diddy was placed in solitary confinement, though officials have not publicly confirmed details surrounding any disciplinary action.

The Bad Boy Records founder’s release date has shifted multiple times in recent months. His original projected release was reportedly set for the summer before moving earlier to April, then February, then January, and now back to February 2028.

It remains unclear why his release date changed several times or whether the reported prison incident played a role in the latest adjustment.

Diddy was sentenced to 50 months in federal prison after being convicted in 2025 on two prostitution-related charges. He continues to serve his sentence while his legal team works through the aftermath of the high-profile case.
