Cassie Scores Major Court Win As Judge Tosses Former Male Escort’s Lawsuit Against Her

Cassie has secured a significant legal victory in one of the civil lawsuits connected to Sean “Diddy” Combs and the alleged “freak offs.”

According to newly filed court documents, a federal judge dismissed all claims brought against the singer by Clayton Howard, a former male escort who alleged he suffered psychological and emotional harm after participating in encounters involving Cassie and Diddy.

Howard had accused Cassie of coordinating the alleged events and claimed he suffered damages as a result of his involvement.

However, the judge ruled in Cassie’s favor and dismissed the claims against her.

While the ruling is a win for Cassie, the case may not be over entirely. The court granted Howard permission to amend certain claims, meaning he could potentially refile part of his lawsuit if he addresses the issues identified by the court.

In her defense, Cassie argued that Howard only decided to sue her after learning she had reached a $20 million settlement with Diddy in her own lawsuit.

Cassie also pointed to a text message Howard allegedly sent to her husband, Alex Fine, before her settlement with Diddy became public.

In the message, Howard reportedly wrote:

“Your wife’s truth is 100% valid… I would have come forward and I’m glad she got some form of justice.”

Cassie argued the message contradicted Howard’s later allegations against her.

Howard, however, maintained that the text message did not undermine his claims.

The lawsuit against Diddy remains separate. He has denied all allegations of wrongdoing related to the civil cases filed against him.

For now, Cassie walks away with an important courtroom victory, although the legal battle could continue if Howard chooses to amend and refile portions of his complaint.
