Offset is keeping it cool when it comes to Cardi B’s recent lyrical jabs on her single “Outside.”

During an appearance on The Joe Budden Podcast this week, the Migos rapper opened up about his reaction to the record and whether he’ll be clapping back on his upcoming album, Kiari.

When Budden asked if the album would address drama with his ex-wife, Offset made it clear he’s not here for the back-and-forth.

“It’s therapy. I ain’t doing that on the album,” he said. “I might speak on life situations, but I’m not doing that. That ain’t the way to do it. There’s too much involved — family, kids. That sh*t gonna be lame 10 years from now. I ain’t on that.”

As for “Outside,” Offset says he saw it coming.

“I actually knew about the song before the song came out, like prior to the bullsh*t that was happening,” he explained. “If it is stuff at me… Everything is a timing thing. That record’s been done. I know about the record. It look like how it look.”

When Budden tossed him a curveball about whether a man should be more hurt if his partner cheats “up” or “down,” Offset shrugged it off with confidence.

“No woman I’ve ever been with has upgraded after me,” he said. “Every situation I’ve ever seen go on… it’s like the unseasoned version.”

With Kiari on the horizon, Offset seems more focused on making music and moving forward than firing back at his famous ex — at least for now.
