DJ Envy Says Wife Gia Had To Teach Him How To Properly Wash His Butt

DJ Envy has the internet talking after making a surprisingly candid confession about his hygiene during a recent episode of The Breakfast Club.

The conversation started when the hosts discussed singer Eric Benét’s comments criticizing men who think washing themselves thoroughly with soap and water is somehow “gay.” Benét urged those men to “wash your ass expeditiously.”

That’s when Envy admitted he wasn’t always as thorough with his hygiene.

“All right, confession confession. I tell too much up here—my wife hates it but it’s all good,” Envy said. “I used to be the type of guy that didn’t get up all in there. But I never thought about it.”

The radio personality explained that it wasn’t until years ago, while showering with his wife, Gia Casey, that he realized he needed to clean himself more thoroughly.

According to Envy, Gia showed him the proper way to wash, and he’s been doing things differently ever since.

“But you should get up all in there,” Envy joked. “You don’t want stinky ass.”

His co-host Jess Hilarious wasted no time clowning him, firing off jokes about his past hygiene habits and keeping the laughs rolling throughout the segment.

Meanwhile, Charlamagne tha God couldn’t believe the conversation was even necessary. He said every man he grew up around stressed the importance of proper hygiene and questioned why anyone would think washing themselves thoroughly was an issue.

Charlamagne also shared his own routine, explaining that he uses separate washcloths for his face, body and private areas.
