Latto Says Ice Spice Beef Wasn’t That Deep and She’s Not Accepting The Bag From Cardi B

Latto is putting old drama behind her and focusing on motherhood, music, and peace.

During a recent sit-down with The Breakfast Club, the Atlanta rapper opened up about where things currently stand with both Ice Spice and Cardi B after months of social media chatter and fan speculation.

When asked about her relationship with Ice Spice, Latto revealed that the two have officially moved past their issues. According to Big Mama, Ice Spice’s manager reached out to her team in an effort to squash the tension and potentially work on music together.

Latto admitted that the situation was never as serious as social media made it seem and said she now realizes online conversations helped fuel the feud.

“It just wasn’t that deep,” Latto explained, adding that she eventually recognized how much social media amplified the back-and-forth between the two artists.

As for Cardi B, Latto’s feelings appear to be more complicated.

The rapper revealed that she rushed to the studio to record a verse for the “Everytime” remix because she believed they had a genuine friendship. However, she later heard Cardi’s leaked rant where she referred to her as “Pu$$y A$$ Latto,” which left her disappointed.

Latto shared that shortly afterward she recorded “Gimme Dat” while in the early stages of her pregnancy, channeling her emotions into the music.

Although Cardi later issued a public apology and even offered to “buy her a bag,” Latto says she’s not interested in accepting the gesture.

According to Latto, their relationship was deeper than industry politics, which is why she felt Cardi could have simply picked up the phone and called her directly.

Despite the hurt feelings, Big Mama isn’t completely shutting the door on reconciliation.

She revealed that she’s open to having a conversation with Cardi in the future but admitted she’s currently focused on adjusting to life as a new mother.

For now, it appears Latto is choosing growth over drama while leaving room for healing when the timing feels right.
