Chris Brown Claps Back at Kevin McCall 👀🔥 | “You Can’t Walk Across a Burnt Bridge” After EBT Interview Goes Viral

Chris Brown had time Tuesday night — and he used it to seemingly fire shots at his former collaborator Kevin McCall, after a viral interview showed the struggling artist revealing he’s currently using an EBT card and asking for help.

McCall’s emotional appearance on the Back On Figg podcast caught the internet’s attention when he tearfully admitted his financial hardships, saying he’s “on EBT” despite co-writing some of Chris Brown’s biggest hits, including “Deuces” and “Strip.”

“Why the f*ck I got an EBT card?” McCall asked during the interview, flashing the card to the camera. He went on to call out Chris directly, adding: “Can I get $25K for them four songs I owe you?”

The heartfelt clip went viral, prompting reactions from fans — and apparently, from Breezy himself.

Not long after, Chris Brown took to his Instagram Story with what many took as a subtle but sharp response:

“Remember this: you can’t walk across a burnt bridge. And you know what’s funnier than a troll? A BROKE one.”

Though Chris didn’t name McCall directly, the timing and tone made it clear who the message was aimed at.

The two have a long and complicated history. McCall was once part of Chris Brown’s creative circle in the early 2010s, co-writing multiple hits that helped define Breezy’s comeback era. But their relationship soured between 2014 and 2016 amid disputes over royalties and songwriting credits.

Fans are split online — some say Chris is being cold toward someone clearly struggling, while others argue McCall burned his own bridges years ago.

Either way, the situation adds another chapter to one of R&B’s most talked-about musical fallouts.
