Cassie Pops Back on IG After Diddy Trial & Baby Boy’s Birth

Cassie is slowly stepping back into the public eye after a whirlwind of legal battles, emotional testimony, and welcoming her second child.

It’s been a heavy stretch for the “Me & U” singer. Back in November 2023, she filed a shocking lawsuit against Diddy, accusing him of abuse throughout their decade-long on-and-off relationship. The case was settled within a day, but earlier this year, Cassie had to relive those traumatic experiences on the stand during Diddy’s federal trial.

After two months of testimony from multiple witnesses, the jury found Diddy not guilty of sex trafficking and racketeering but guilty of transportation for prostitution — a charge that could land him up to 20 years behind bars. His sentencing is scheduled for October 3.

Cassie’s own testimony came while she was nine months pregnant. Thankfully, in May, she gave birth to a healthy baby boy with her husband, Alex Fine, by her side. In a statement after the trial, she thanked her loved ones for their support and asked for privacy to focus on her growing family.

Since then, Cassie has kept things quiet — until August 7, when she finally popped back up on Instagram. She reshared a “momswithplans” clip of a man dancing in front of a crowd with the caption: “When your old self slowly starts coming out postpartum.” Cassie added, “Factual. Little by little. lol,” letting fans know she’s easing back into her groove.
