It appears Cassie Ventura has officially turned the page on her life in America.

According to newly filed court documents, Cassie revealed that she now resides outside of the United States and has no plans to return permanently. The declaration was submitted as part of an ongoing legal battle involving former male escort Clayton Howard, who previously filed a lawsuit against both Cassie and Sean Combs.

In the filing dated May 1, 2026, Cassie stated, “I reside outside of the United States. I do not intend to move back to the United States.” While she confirmed she remains a U.S. citizen, she also clarified that she is not a resident of California.

The revelation comes years after Cassie reached a reported $20 million settlement with Diddy over allegations of abuse. She also reportedly secured an additional settlement tied to the hotel surveillance footage that showed Diddy assaulting her in a Los Angeles hotel hallway.

Although Cassie has not publicly revealed which country she now calls home, the singer indicated that handling legal matters in New York would be more convenient than traveling to California because her attorneys are based there.

The court filing is connected to claims made by Clayton Howard, who alleged he participated in so-called “freak-offs” involving Cassie and Diddy. Howard has accused the pair of subjecting him to abuse and causing long-term physical and emotional harm.

However, Cassie’s legal team pointed to an alleged message Howard reportedly sent to her husband, Alex Fine, in 2023 after Cassie first came forward with allegations against Diddy. In the message, Howard allegedly expressed support for Cassie and stated that he believed her account of abuse was “100% valid.”

The latest development suggests Cassie is continuing to prioritize privacy and healing while navigating the ongoing legal fallout connected to her past relationship with Diddy. While questions remain about where she now lives, one thing appears clear: Cassie says she has no intention of making America her permanent home again.
