Jaafar Jackson is proving that his breakout performance as the King of Pop was only the beginning.

Fresh off the massive success of Michael, the nephew of Michael Jackson has landed his next major Hollywood role. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jaafar has joined the cast of the upcoming action thriller Supermax, where he’ll star alongside Will Smith.

The film, directed by David Gordon Green, follows two FBI agents investigating a murder inside one of the country’s most dangerous maximum-security prisons. Smith will lead the cast alongside AnnaSophia Robb, who also stars as an FBI agent.

While details about Jaafar’s character remain under wraps, the casting marks another huge milestone for the rising actor following widespread praise for his portrayal of his legendary uncle in Michael.

Audiences and critics applauded Jaafar for capturing Michael Jackson’s signature voice, mannerisms and iconic dance moves—including the Moonwalk, the Robot, the Spin and the Toe Stand—helping bring the music legend’s story to life on the big screen.
