Beyoncé is giving the BeyHive another reason to celebrate this Fourth of July.

The global superstar surprised fans with the release of “MORNING DEW (DONK),” her first new song in two years, while officially launching a 60-day countdown to her birthday and the highly anticipated 20th anniversary reissue of her groundbreaking sophomore album, B’DAY.

Written by Beyoncé, Pharrell Williams, The-Dream, and Darius Dixon, the track was produced by Beyoncé and Pharrell and serves as a special gift to longtime fans who have supported the singer throughout her career.

“MORNING DEW (DONK)” will appear on the upcoming 20th Anniversary Edition of B’DAY, which celebrates the iconic album originally released on September 4, 2006. The song debuted alongside a nostalgic lyric video featuring archival footage directed by longtime Beyoncé collaborator Cliff Watts, who famously photographed her iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover around her 25th birthday.

When B’DAY first debuted, it became Beyoncé’s second No. 1 album, selling more than 541,000 copies in its first week in the United States. The album also topped charts internationally, including Japan, where it reached No. 1 on the International Album Chart in less than three days.
