Floyd Mayweather Sued For $4.65 Million Over Alleged Tyson & Pacquiao Fight Deals Gone Wrong

Floyd Mayweather is facing a new legal battle after a boxing promotion company filed a lawsuit claiming the undefeated boxing legend took millions in advance payments for two blockbuster fights that never happened.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports, CSI Entertainment alleges it paid Mayweather and his management company, First Apex Ventures, a total of $4.65 million in connection with exclusive rights to promote and stream two major events — an exhibition bout against boxing icon Mike Tyson and a rematch with Manny Pacquiao.

The company claims it paid approximately $4.5 million to secure exclusive promotional rights to both fights, along with an additional $150,000 advance payment. CSI alleges Mayweather personally approved the agreements and was fully aware of the arrangements.

However, the lawsuit claims things quickly fell apart. According to the filing, shortly after receiving the advance money, Mayweather allegedly announced plans to fight Greek kickboxing star Mike Zambidis instead of Tyson under a different promoter. CSI also claims Mayweather entered into a separate agreement involving a Pacquiao event that would reportedly be streamed on Netflix, despite the company believing it held exclusive rights.

The promoters say they spent significant time, money and resources marketing the proposed events and now fear losing the opportunity altogether. As a result, they are seeking damages, reimbursement of their investment, and court intervention that could potentially halt Mayweather’s upcoming exhibition and any future Pacquiao-related event that violates their alleged contract.

Ironically, the lawsuit arrives while Mayweather is already involved in another legal dispute against First Apex Ventures and a former business associate, where he is seeking $175 million over alleged fraud and financial misconduct.

As of now, Mayweather’s legal team has not publicly responded to the latest allegations.

The case adds another layer of controversy to what has already been a turbulent year for the boxing superstar, who has recently faced multiple lawsuits and financial scrutiny.
