Diddy Is Not Taking That L — Bad Boy Mogul Fights Back, Tells Feds “Run It Back!” After Mann Act Convictions

Diddy Files Motion for Acquittal or New Trial, Says Mann Act Doesn’t Apply to Him

Sean “Diddy” Combs is far from done fighting his legal war — the Bad Boy icon just told a New York federal court he wants his recent convictions wiped clean or a whole new trial altogether.

According to fresh court filings from his high-powered legal squad, Diddy is challenging the jury’s verdict that found him guilty on two federal counts tied to allegedly transporting women across state lines for sexual purposes. The case falls under the century-old Mann Act, a law meant to ban moving people across state lines for “immoral purposes” like prostitution.

Prosecutors painted Diddy as the mastermind behind arranging travel for women to attend his now infamous “freak offs” with his girlfriend and friends. But while the feds came in heavy with wild stories and salacious details, Diddy’s lawyers say they failed to prove the receipts.

He actually beat the biggest charges — racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking — but still got hit with two lesser counts. His team says that’s nonsense, arguing the case twisted private, consensual adult relationships into a criminal situation. They insist he never set up the travel or acted as a pimp, instead saying he paid consenting adult entertainers for recorded acts with former partners.

“That is not prostitution,” the filing boldly states. “And if it is, then the conviction is unconstitutional.”

They’re also blasting the government’s use of the Mann Act, saying it was stretched way too far. And since the jury tossed the major charges, they claim it’s proof the core of the case didn’t stick.

If the judge won’t overturn the conviction, Diddy wants a do-over with a fresh trial. And he’s not stopping there — in a separate move, his team is pushing for him to get out before sentencing.

The ask? A $50 million bond, house arrest in Miami, limited travel, and no passport. His lawyers say he’s in danger inside Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center and point out that other defendants in similar cases have been given bail.

So far, the court has been no on that request, worried about public safety and pointing to Diddy’s alleged history of violence. His sentencing date hasn’t been set yet, but best believe… this fight is far from over.
