Diddy Fires Back At Lil Rod, Says Producer Won’t Turn Over Medical Records In $30 Million Lawsuit

Sean “Diddy” Combs is continuing to fight back against music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones in their ongoing legal battle, accusing the producer of failing to provide key evidence related to his allegations.

According to newly filed court documents, Diddy claims Lil Rod has not properly turned over medical records that could be relevant to the lawsuit. Diddy’s legal team argues that Jones was expected to authorize access to his medical records months ago, but the release forms provided allegedly did not comply with privacy regulations.

The Bad Boy founder is also pushing back against what his attorneys describe as excessive and improper discovery requests. In the filing, Diddy’s lawyers argue they should not be required to produce certain documents or answer a wide range of questions requested by Jones.

One issue highlighted in the filing involves actor Cuba Gooding Jr. Lil Rod previously alleged that Cuba was involved in an incident aboard Diddy’s yacht. However, Diddy’s attorneys argue that questions regarding the conduct or statements of third parties are irrelevant and improper for the current case.

The lawsuit, originally filed by Jones, includes allegations of sexual assault, harassment, and misconduct. Lil Rod claims Diddy subjected him to unwanted touching, inappropriate behavior, and sexual advances while they worked together. He also alleged he was drugged and sexually assaulted at Diddy’s residence.

Diddy has repeatedly denied all allegations made against him and previously labeled the lawsuit a money grab. His legal team has maintained that the claims are fabricated and designed to generate publicity and financial gain.

Jones is seeking $30 million in damages. However, several of his claims were previously dismissed by the court, narrowing the scope of the case moving forward.

As the legal battle continues, both sides appear prepared for a lengthy fight over evidence, witness testimony, and the remaining claims still before the court.
