Kim Kardashian Taps Law Roach as Her New Stylist, Kicking Off a Major Fashion Era
Kim Kardashian may officially be entering a new fashion era — and Law Roach is behind it.
The celebrity stylist confirmed that Kardashian is his newest client after styling the SKIMS founder for the opening-night celebration of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles on Saturday, September 19.
For the star-studded evening, Kardashian stepped out in an archival Yves Saint Laurent gown from Tom Ford’s Fall/Winter 2004 collection. The black keyhole gown featured intricate black-and-gold sequins and Chinese-inspired detailing, giving Kardashian a glamorous archival moment that immediately caught the attention of fashion fans.
Shortly after Kardashian hit the carpet, Roach reposted footage comparing her look to the original runway presentation and made their new partnership official with two simple words: “New client 💕.”

And just like that, the internet started talking.
The pairing brings together two major forces in fashion and pop culture. Kardashian has spent years making headlines for her evolving style, while Roach has become one of Hollywood’s most recognizable image architects through his longtime work with Zendaya and collaborations with stars including Céline Dion, Ariana Grande and Kerry Washington.
There’s also some fashion history attached to Kardashian’s first Law Roach look. Céline Dion previously wore the same Tom Ford-era Yves Saint Laurent design to the 2004 World Music Awards, making Kardashian’s appearance another example of Roach’s affinity for pulling memorable archival pieces back into the spotlight.
The new partnership is especially interesting considering Roach made headlines last year for comments about Kardashian’s viral SKIMS faux-pubic-hair underwear. While some social media users interpreted his response as shade, Roach also praised the Kardashian family’s understanding of pop culture and spoke positively about them personally.

Now, any speculation about where the two stand appears to have been replaced by a full-fledged fashion collaboration.
If Kardashian’s first Law Roach look is any indication, archival fashion, major red-carpet moments and a more curated approach to her image could be ahead.

Kim Kardashian has reinvented her style more than once — but with Law Roach officially in the mix, fashion lovers will be watching closely to see exactly what this next chapter looks like.
