Bill Cosby Admits Under Oath He Had 7 Quaalude Prescriptions To Drug Women For Sex

Bill Cosby made a stunning admission under oath — revealing he repeatedly refilled a prescription for quaaludes with the intention of giving the pills to women in hopes of having sex with them.

The revelation comes from a sealed deposition Cosby gave in a civil lawsuit filed by one of his accusers, Donna Motsinger. Portions of that testimony are now detailed in newly surfaced legal documents.

According to the documents, Cosby testified that he obtained the quaaludes prescription from a gynecologist, Dr. Leroy Amar, during a poker game hosted at Cosby’s Los Angeles home prior to 1972. Cosby admitted he refilled the prescription seven times. He also claimed he never personally took the pills himself.

Dr. Amar, described in the filings as a “disgraced” physician and friend of Cosby, later had his medical license revoked in California in 1979.

Motsinger alleges that in 1972, while she was working as a server at the Trident restaurant in Sausalito, California, Cosby gave her what she believed to be an aspirin. After taking the pill, she says she began drifting in and out of consciousness and later woke up in her home wearing only her underwear.

Court documents describe the quaaludes as round, white pills.

Cosby is currently seeking to have Motsinger’s lawsuit dismissed, but she is actively opposing the motion. The case marks another chapter in the long-running legal battles that have surrounded the comedian for years.
