Reality star and social media personality Shamar McCoy is facing legal trouble after being arrested in connection with an alleged group assault that dates back to late 2024.

According to court documents and jail records obtained by TMZ, Shamar was arrested on Monday on a misdemeanor battery charge stemming from an alleged incident in November 2024. He was booked into custody and later released after posting a $2,000 bond.

Authorities say the case began after Shamar’s boyfriend, Alexander Green, allegedly got into a heated phone argument with a man identified as Quentin McDowell.

Investigators claim Shamar, Alexander and a group of friends later went to Quentin’s home, where the confrontation allegedly turned physical.

According to the police report, Quentin told officers Alexander repeatedly punched him in the face with a closed fist, threw him to the ground, and continued kicking him while he was down.

Quentin also alleged that Shamar joined the attack by kicking him in the head before the group fled the scene in a burgundy Jaguar SUV.

Police say another witness corroborated parts of the alleged assault. The alleged victim also told investigators the altercation was recorded and later uploaded to Instagram, where he showed the footage to officers as part of the investigation.

At this time, Shamar has been charged with misdemeanor battery. The case remains ongoing, and no additional court proceedings have been announced.

Neither Shamar McCoy nor Alexander Green has publicly addressed the allegations.
