Caught on Camera 👀 Trey Songz Arrested After Allegedly Punching NYC Nightclub Employee”

Video footage is now circulating showing Trey Songz being arrested following a heated early-morning incident at a New York City nightclub.

According to prosecutors and reporting from the New York Post, the R&B singer (real name Tremaine Neverson) was taken into custody after an alleged altercation at Dramma Night Club in Times Square. Authorities say the incident occurred around 4:24 a.m. on December 4, while Trey was inside the club with his crew.

Prosecutors claim a nightclub employee informed Trey that the venue was closing. That interaction allegedly caused the singer to become “needlessly irate,” with the dispute escalating moments later. Authorities allege Trey punched the employee in the face, leading to police intervention and his arrest — now captured on video that’s making the rounds online.

Songz later appeared in Manhattan criminal court on Sunday, where he was arraigned on an assault charge connected to the nightclub incident. Court records also show the employee was granted an order of protection against the singer.

However, the nightclub situation wasn’t the only issue that night.

Prosecutors say Trey is also facing a second-degree criminal mischief charge tied to a separate incident earlier that morning at Mira Restaurant in Kips Bay. Authorities allege he caused more than $1,500 in damages, reportedly breaking hookahs, DJ equipment, and sofas. A restaurant manager told police he witnessed the damage firsthand.

Despite the serious allegations, Trey Songz’s legal team is pushing back.

His attorney, Mitchell Schuster, released a statement claiming the incident has been mischaracterized. According to Schuster, Trey was confronted and surrounded by individuals who instigated the situation.

“His security intervened to protect him and contain the situation,” Schuster said. “An altercation occurred in the ensuing confusion. Despite being the target of the initial provocation, Trey was arrested.”

Schuster also suggested that public figures are often targeted for headlines or financial gain, adding that Trey is cooperating fully with authorities and expects the full context to come out.

Trey Songz is scheduled to return to court on February 18, as both cases remain ongoing.
