Rondell Sheridan, beloved for his role as Victor Baxter on Disney Channel’s That’s So Raven, is currently hospitalized with a severe case of pancreatitis. The 66-year-old actor and comedian shared a heartfelt video from his hospital bed, detailing his health journey that began on April 10 while he was on tour. Initially misdiagnosed with a gastric issue, Sheridan was later admitted to North Ridge Hospital, where he spent nine days undergoing tests before receiving the correct diagnosis.

Pancreatitis, an inflammation of the pancreas, can cause intense abdominal pain, fever, and vomiting. Despite being discharged, Sheridan reports ongoing complications and has been advised to remain mostly bedridden during his recovery.

Unable to work and facing mounting medical bills, Sheridan has launched a GoFundMe campaign to assist with his expenses. The fundraiser, organized by his friend Isabel Beyoso, has already garnered over $28,000 toward its $35,000 goal. Fans and former co-stars have expressed their support, with many recalling the joy Sheridan brought into their lives through his performances.

Sheridan’s career spans decades, with notable appearances in The Jamie Foxx Show, Kenan & Kel, and A Different World, in addition to his iconic role in That’s So Raven and its spin-offs.
