Security Guard From InterContinental Hotel Alleges Diddy Paid Him And Staff Members For Cassie Video

Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing new explosive allegations in connection to the now-infamous video showing him allegedly assaulting singer Cassie Ventura. According to testimony obtained by TMZ, former InterContinental Hotel security officer Eddy Garcia claims the music mogul paid off hotel employees to obtain and suppress the footage.

Garcia took the stand on June 3 to testify under oath about his involvement. He alleges that Diddy, with the help of Kristina Khorram, a representative of Combs Enterprises, approached him in an attempt to secure the video in exchange for money. Garcia said the initial contact came via a call from a New York area code—Khorram on the line. She allegedly told him Diddy had been intoxicated during the assault and didn’t remember the incident.

Garcia maintained that she would need to go through hotel management or provide a subpoena. But the pressure mounted. Khorram eventually showed up at the hotel in person, still seeking the footage. When that failed, another call came—this time with Diddy on the line. Garcia described the mogul as “frantic,” allegedly pleading that the video could ruin his career.

Garcia continued to deny access, but things changed after a series of persistent calls. Diddy allegedly implied he could “take care of” Garcia financially. Garcia then informed his supervisor, Bill Medrano, who purportedly agreed to release the footage for $50,000. Garcia relayed the message to Diddy, who then referred to him as his “angel” for cooperating.

According to Garcia, Medrano handed over the footage, which Garcia delivered to a Los Angeles location where Diddy was waiting. Diddy allegedly confirmed the video’s authenticity and asked whether it was the only copy. After contacting Medrano, they confirmed it had been removed from the hotel’s servers.

Garcia testified that Diddy then FaceTimed Cassie, who allegedly said she didn’t want the video to go public because she was preparing for a film role. NDAs were reportedly signed, and Garcia says he handed over IDs for himself, Medrano, and another security guard—Henry Elias—in order to receive payment. Notably, a third man originally slated to receive the money, Israel Florez, allegedly declined the payment.

Garcia claims he received $100,000, which he split among those involved. He says he used his portion to buy a used car. The payment, he adds, was made in front of Khorram and a security staff member. Diddy later texted him a “Happy Easter” message—but when Garcia later reached out to seek employment, he says Diddy never responded.
