Mary J. Blige Ain’t Havin’ It! Wants Misa Hylton & Vado’s “Messy” $5M Lawsuit Thrown Out — “No More Drama!”

Mary J. Blige is shutting it all the way down when it comes to the $5 million lawsuit filed by her former longtime friend and stylist Misa Hylton — and she’s telling the courts, “No more drama!”

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Blige’s legal team, led by powerhouse attorney Lisa Moore, is moving to get the lawsuit dismissed ASAP, calling Misa’s claims “patently frivolous” and accusing her of filing the suit simply to cause “malicious injury” and generate social media noise.

For a little backstory — Misa and Mary go back over 30 years, sharing a deep bond in both fashion and friendship. But things took a turn in April when Misa filed a $5 million breach of contract suit over Harlem rapper Vado, claiming Mary mishandled the artist’s career and violated agreements around his management.

But Mary’s camp says it’s all cap.

In the latest court filing, MJB argues that Misa and Vado are trying to strong-arm her into a payout, despite having no legal grounds. Blige’s team says the lawsuit was designed to be a PR spectacle and that there are actual text messages from Vado himself requesting that Misa’s management company be cut.

Mary isn’t just asking for a dismissal — she’s coming with full fire, saying she’s planning to file counterclaims and request sanctions for being dragged into what she calls a completely baseless legal mess.

It’s clear the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul isn’t backing down. One thing about Mary? She’s been through the storm and the rain — and this drama won’t break her.
