Eddie’s son, Eric Murphy, and Martin’s daughter, Jasmin Lawrence, just announced they’re expecting their first baby together. The couple, who quietly tied the knot last year, shared the exciting news on Instagram with a sweet maternity post.

Jasmin wrote, “Thank you Jesus for the greatest gift,” alongside a photo of Eric on one knee, lovingly cradling her growing baby bump.

The announcement comes months after their intimate wedding. As previously reported, Eric and Jasmin dated for three years before getting engaged the day before Thanksgiving 2024. Eddie later revealed during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show that the couple had a low-key ceremony — joking that it saved Martin from having to pay a huge wedding bill.
