Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence Officially Become Grandfathers as Eric and Jasmin Welcome Baby Girl 👶🏾❤️

The Murphy-Lawrence family just got even bigger.

Eddie Murphy confirmed that his son, Eric Murphy, and Jasmin Lawrence, daughter of Martin Lawrence, have welcomed their first child together.

According to Eddie, the couple recently had a baby girl named Ari Skye.

The actor shared the exciting news while attending the American Film Institute Life Achievement Award Ceremony on April 18, where he was honored with a major career achievement award.

When asked if he had any parenting advice for the new parents, Eddie joked that kids do not really listen to advice anyway.

Instead, he said children learn more by watching the example their parents set.

Eddie Murphy also made it clear that no matter how successful his career has been, his children are what matter most to him.

“My legacy to me isn’t my work,” he said. “My legacy to me is my children.”

Jasmin Lawrence and Eric Murphy announced they were expecting earlier this year, months after quietly getting married.

Meanwhile, Martin Lawrence previously shared how excited he was to become a grandfather, calling the moment a blessing.
