From Reality Star to Esq.? Kim Kardashian Officially Takes The California Bar Exam & Waits On Results!

Kim Kardashian Took California Bar Exam and Awaits Results

Kim Kardashian is one step closer to trading in her reality TV crown for a lawyer’s license. TMZ has confirmed that the SKIMS mogul officially sat for the California bar exam in late July, and now she’s in the nail-biting waiting period for her results.

The bar is no joke—it’s one of the toughest tests in the nation. The two-day exam includes five one-hour essays, one performance test, and 200 multiple-choice questions. With the July 2024 passage rate sitting at just 53.8%, the challenge is real.

Kim didn’t take the traditional law school route. Instead, she put in the grind through a six-year apprenticeship program while juggling business, family, and fame. She passed the ā€œbaby barā€ in December 2021 after four attempts, officially completing her apprenticeship on May 21, 2025. To celebrate, she even held a backyard graduation ceremony surrounded by family and friends.

While most aspiring lawyers go off the grid for months to study, Kim’s schedule stayed packed—travelling, filming, and even hitting high-profile events like Jeff Bezos’ wedding in June. Still, she carved out the time and discipline to face the exam.

Currently in Venice, Italy, the beauty mogul just received an award for her ongoing work in criminal justice reform—a cause that sparked her legal journey in the first place.

Results drop November 7th for examinees, with the State Bar making them public on November 9th. Until then, Kim and thousands of other hopefuls will be waiting on pins and needles.

If she passes, she’ll officially earn the title: Attorney Kim Kardashian, Esq.
