James Harden Arrested In Texas On Weapons Charge After Police Allegedly Find Handgun In Vehicle

NBA superstar James Harden is making headlines for reasons unrelated to basketball after reportedly being arrested in Texas over the weekend.

According to reports, Harden was taken into custody early Saturday morning and charged with unlawful carrying of a weapon after authorities allegedly discovered a handgun inside his vehicle.

Law enforcement officials claim the firearm was in plain sight and was not secured in a holster, leading to the misdemeanor charge.

Following his arrest, Harden was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 22.

As part of the conditions of his release, Harden is prohibited from possessing firearms, ammunition, or any other weapons. He is also barred from consuming alcohol, marijuana, controlled substances, or dangerous drugs unless prescribed by a physician. Court records indicate he must also submit to random urinalysis testing.
