Halle Bailey Granted Sole Custody of Son Halo Amid Abuse Allegations Against Ex-Boyfriend DDG

Halle Bailey has been awarded full legal and physical custody of her son, Halo, according to People. The ruling comes after the Little Mermaid star filed a request for sole custody, citing disturbing allegations of physical and emotional abuse by her ex-boyfriend and Halo’s father, rapper DDG.

As previously reported, Bailey also filed for a temporary restraining order against DDG, which mandates that he remain over 100 yards away from both her and Halo at all times. That order remains in effect until a scheduled court hearing on June 4.

Bailey, 24, has largely kept her son out of the public eye since his birth, only confirming his arrival months after. The court’s recent decision marks a significant development in her ongoing efforts to ensure her child’s safety and well-being.
