Fresh home from prison, Fetty Wap is shifting the focus from setbacks to service — and he’s making it clear that giving back is now at the center of his mission.

During a recent sit-down with The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne Tha God asked the rapper what kind of example he’s most intentional about setting now that he’s free. Fetty’s answer was raw, reflective, and deeply personal.

“Honestly, I just wanna show kids — especially kids with disabilities — that nothing is impossible,” Fetty said.

The New Jersey rapper spoke passionately about wanting to uplift children with disabilities, kids who are less fortunate, and those who grew up without parents or in foster care. Drawing from his own life story, Fetty reminded listeners that he was born with congenital glaucoma, a condition doctors said would severely limit his vision and his future.

“I wasn’t supposed to be able to drive, let alone even see,” he explained. “It was supposed to affect both my eyes, but they saved one.”

Now, Fetty says he wants to turn that survival story into action. He revealed plans to eventually launch a foundation aimed at supporting kids with disabilities, helping them grow, heal, and believe in themselves — no matter what challenges they face.

“Whatever the disability may be,” Fetty said. “I fight for the blindness.”

The moment marked a powerful pivot for the “Trap Queen” rapper, who appears focused on redemption, impact, and purpose in this next chapter of his life. For Fetty Wap, being home isn’t just about freedom — it’s about showing the next generation that limitations don’t define destiny.
