According to TMZ, the locked-up liquor was a DIY mix of Fanta, sugar, and apples that inmates let ferment for two weeks to create a bootleg alcoholic drink. Sources say Diddy was caught red-handed with the contraband and almost got transferred to a new unit — until prison officials reversed their decision and decided to let him stay put.

The news comes as a surprise after Diddy made a big deal about his sobriety journey in court before his sentencing last month. He told the judge he’d been sober for the first time in 25 years, writing in a heartfelt letter, “The old me died in jail and a new version of me was reborn. Prison will change you or kill you — I choose to live.”

Just last week, photos surfaced of Diddy smiling and laughing in the prison yard, seemingly adjusting to life behind bars while socializing with fellow inmates. But now, the discovery of his “jailhouse jungle juice” has fans questioning how serious his transformation really is.
