Family Matters” Star Darius McCrary Extradited to Michigan Over Missed Child Support Court Date 😬✈️

Looks like Eddie Winslow is heading home under less-than-sitcom circumstances — because “Family Matters” star Darius McCrary has officially been extradited to Michigan following his recent arrest.

According to his rep, Ann Barlow, McCrary was transferred from a San Diego jail to Michigan early Wednesday morning after being taken into custody earlier this month. The extradition stems from a warrant issued in Michigan related to a missed court appearance tied to unpaid child support.

Barlow told TMZ she was blindsided by the move and wasn’t even informed beforehand, adding that she’s unsure whether McCrary is being transported by plane or bus.

The 48-year-old actor — best known for playing Eddie Winslow on the beloved 90s sitcom Family Matters — was detained by U.S. Customs and Border Protection while re-entering the country from Mexico earlier this month.

Reports say McCrary spent several weeks behind bars, even representing himself in court during one of his hearings — where he appeared visibly confused.

As of now, it’s unclear if he’s officially touched down in Michigan, but one thing’s for sure — this situation’s no laughing matter.
