Diddy’s Federal Release Date Set for 2028 — But He’s Reportedly Begging Trump for a Presidential Pardon 😳🕊️

It looks like Sean “Diddy” Combs will be calling a federal prison home until May 8, 2028 — unless he can convince Donald Trump to step in with a presidential pardon.

According to the Bureau of Prisons, Diddy’s official release date has been listed for May 2028 after being found guilty on two out of four counts tied to his federal case earlier this year. The 55-year-old music mogul is currently serving a 50-month sentence for violating the Mann Act, a law that bans transporting individuals across state lines for unlawful sexual activity.

Court insiders say Combs’ legal team has already filed several motions and appeals in New York, pushing to reduce his sentence. His time served since September 2024 and potential good behavior credit could make him eligible for early release under federal guidelines, which allow inmates to serve about 85% of their sentence.

The Bureau of Prisons declined to comment on his exact release schedule, citing the ongoing government shutdown. But multiple outlets, including Complex, confirmed the date through federal databases.

Meanwhile, Diddy is reportedly trying to go straight to the top for help — reaching out to former president Donald Trump for clemency. Trump even addressed the request publicly, saying, “I call him Puff Daddy — he has asked me for a pardon.”

Sources close to the situation told TMZ that Trump has discussed commuting Diddy’s sentence, but no decision has been made yet. “Trump will do what he wants,” one insider said.

White House officials later denied any formal review of a commutation, but TMZ doubled down, citing multiple sources who confirmed the talks are “ongoing behind closed doors.”

For now, unless a miracle move from Trump changes the game, Diddy’s looking at a 2028 release — and plenty of time to reflect on the empire he built, and the empire that crumbled.
