Big Tigger Arrested On Battery & Cruelty To Children Charges Following Alleged Domestic Dispute With Wife

Atlanta radio personality Big Tigger is facing serious legal trouble after being arrested on battery and cruelty to children charges stemming from an alleged domestic dispute involving his wife, Alicia Brown.

According to reports and an arrest affidavit, Big Tigger, whose real name is Darian Morgan, was arrested Saturday and later released on a $10,000 bond.

Authorities say the incident dates back to May and allegedly began during an argument between Morgan and Brown over text messages he had received from a female co-worker. Brown told investigators that concerns about the messages had been building for weeks before the confrontation escalated.

According to the affidavit, Brown claimed Morgan began yelling at her and recording her with his cellphone during the argument. She alleged that when she attempted to grab the phone, Morgan tackled her to the floor to retrieve it, leaving her with a bruise on her lip.

Brown told police she later went to the basement office of their Sandy Springs home, where both reportedly work. She said Morgan followed her downstairs and the argument continued.

The affidavit alleges Brown unplugged a computer during the dispute, prompting Morgan to intervene. Brown claimed Morgan grabbed her arms and attempted to stop her before allegedly shoving her, causing her to stumble into an office door.

Investigators say Brown suffered a deep cut above her left eye and later sought medical treatment at an urgent care facility before being transported to Grady Memorial Hospital due to the severity of the injury.

Police say portions of the incident were reportedly captured on the home’s Ring security system.

Court documents indicate the cruelty to children charge stems from allegations that the couple’s 13-year-old son was home during the altercation and allegedly heard the incident unfold.

The arrest comes just weeks after Morgan publicly addressed rumors surrounding his personal life. In a statement shared on social media and during his radio show, he denied the allegations.

“I want to say categorically that these allegations and accusations that have been circulating are false,” Morgan said. “Out of respect for everyone involved, I ask for grace, privacy, and restraint as my family navigates this difficult moment.”

The case remains ongoing, and no conviction has been reached. As with all criminal matters, the allegations remain accusations until proven in court.
