Baltimore Man Claims Detectives Questioned Him About Ronny Doe Murder, Speculates Chrisean Rock Could Be Involved

More than a year after the fatal shooting of Karon “Ronny Doe” Cann, the investigation into his murder remains active, but authorities have yet to identify a suspect.

According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, detectives are continuing to investigate the February 2025 killing and are still working to determine who was responsible.

A department spokesperson confirmed the case remains open but declined to release additional details due to the ongoing investigation.

Karon’s name made headlines before his death after he publicly claimed he was the biological father of Chrisean Rock’s son, Chrisean Jr.

Chrisean consistently denied those claims, maintaining that rapper Blueface is her son’s father, despite Blueface’s own public statements disputing paternity at various points.

Weeks after Karon made his claims, the two were reportedly involved in a public confrontation at a shopping mall while Chrisean was with her infant son, prompting police to respond to the scene.

Then, in February 2025, tragedy struck.

Police responded to reports of a shooting at a residence in Severn, Maryland, where they found Karon suffering from multiple gunshot wounds outside the home. He was treated by first responders and transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Investigators have described the shooting as a targeted attack, but more than a year later, no arrests have been announced and no suspect or person of interest has been publicly identified.

The case has also regained attention on social media after a Baltimore man posted a video claiming that homicide detectives knocked on his door this past Monday to question him about Karon “Ronny Doe” Cann’s murder.

In the video, the man says he plans to speak with investigators and speculates that he believes Chrisean Rock could be a suspect in the case.

However, authorities have not publicly identified Chrisean Rock as a suspect or person of interest, and there is no public evidence linking her to the homicide. Police have only confirmed that the investigation remains active and have not released additional details.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and investigators have not announced any suspects in connection with the case.
