Suge Knight is back stirring up old-school R&B and hip-hop history with some explosive claims. While recalling moments from back in the day, the Death Row Records founder revealed that JoJo Hailey of Jodeci got into it with Bobby Brown during the filming of a music video.

According to Suge, JoJo didn’t just throw hands—he actually punched Bobby Brown after heated words were exchanged. JoJo himself even chimed in, confirming the scuffle and bragging that he would beat up the rest of the group as well.

Actor Tyrin Turner, known for his role in Menace II Society, many years later backed up the story during am interview with Art Of Dialogue, saying he witnessed the altercation firsthand. He explained that Bobby Brown sparked the fight by making slick comments comparing New Edition to Jodeci. JoJo wasn’t having it and swung on Bobby. While Bobby was ready to clap back, Suge Knight and others stepped in before things escalated. Despite the drama, JoJo and Bobby are said to be cool now.
