B2K Hits The Stage With New Edition Classics Performance at BMAC Music Maker Dinner To Tribute Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis
B2K brought the nostalgia all the way back at the Grammy weekend festivities.
The R&B group took the stage at the Recording Academy’s Black Music Collective (BMAC) Music Maker Dinner to honor legendary producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis — and they did it with a classic New Edition tribute.
As part of the celebration recognizing Jam and Lewis for their undeniable impact on Black music, B2K performed “If It Isn’t Love” one of New Edition’s iconic hits, paying homage to the producers’ legacy and the blueprint they helped create for generations of R&B groups.
The performance instantly transported the room back to the golden era of boy bands, blending B2K’s early 2000s energy with the timeless influence of New Edition — a group Jam and Lewis famously worked with during their historic run.
The BMAC Music Maker Dinner, held during Grammy week, celebrates creatives who have shaped culture through songwriting, production, and innovation. Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, known for crafting hits for Janet Jackson, Usher, Mariah Carey, Boyz II Men, and countless others, were honored for decades of excellence.
B2K’s tribute was more than just a performance — it was a full-circle R&B moment, recognizing the lineage of Black male vocal groups and the producers who helped define the sound.
From New Edition to B2K and beyond, the legacy continues.
