50 Cent Disses Lloyd Banks & Fabolous, Says They Did ‘No Work’

50 Cent is back stirring the pot — and this time Fabolous and Lloyd Banks are in the hot seat.

The Queens mogul sent timelines into a frenzy after posting — and later deleting — a blunt take comparing the two rap veterans. In a short message shared on X (formerly Twitter), 50 questioned both artists’ work ethic and current commercial standing, igniting fresh debate about legacy and longevity in hip-hop.

“Fab vs. Banks 👀,” 50 reportedly wrote before doubling down. “They both never put in no work themselves. They both are not likely to sell at this point in their career. IT’S A TIE, LADIES & GENTLEMEN 🤷🏾‍♂️ they are the same.”

He also suggested that some of their strongest records lean heavily on romantic themes — a critique that quickly sparked mixed reactions from fans.

The commentary followed a public discussion involving Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda, who debated Fabolous and Lloyd Banks’ lyrical ability and impact. That exchange appeared to strike a nerve, bringing old tensions and industry politics back to the surface.

Fabolous and 50 Cent have had a rocky dynamic over the years. As recently as December, Fab appeared to send subtle shots at 50 in his “Squatter’s Rights” freestyle alongside Jim Jones, Maino, and Dave East — a reminder that unfinished business in hip-hop rarely expires.

Lloyd Banks’ relationship with 50 is more complicated. While no longer operating under the same professional umbrella as during G-Unit’s peak, Banks described their bond as brotherhood in a 2022 GQ interview. “We’re brothers,” he said at the time, acknowledging that career paths evolve.

Still, 50 has built a reputation as rap’s ultimate provocateur. From past feuds with Ja Rule and Diddy to ongoing commentary about industry peers, he consistently positions himself at the center of hip-hop’s most heated conversations.

Whether this latest jab turns into a full-blown back-and-forth or fades as another viral moment, one thing is clear — 50 Cent knows how to keep his name in the mix.
