Jodeci Singer K-Ci Hospitalized With Pneumonia, Cancels Weekend Shows
Jodeci lead singer K-Ci has been forced to take a brief pause from the group’s tour after a serious health scare. K-Ci was recently hospitalized for pneumonia but has since been released and is recovering at home with antibiotics.
As a precaution, the group has canceled this weekend’s concerts, including a Valentine’s Day show at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre and a follow-up performance in Connecticut. However, K-Ci’s manager, Michael Paran, reassured fans that the group plans to reschedule the shows for later dates.
The good news is that K-Ci is expected to make a full recovery, and Jodeci’s upcoming tour dates after this weekend will continue as planned. The group’s fans can rest easy knowing the legendary R&B singer is focused on getting better and back on stage soon.
