UMG Denies Involvement in Drake and Kendrick Lamar Feud To Squash Beef
Conspiracy theories abound in the Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar rap feud. Recently, accusations flew that Drake’s label, UMG, was intervening due to his alleged “loss.” A leaked document outlined UMG’s supposed efforts to end the dispute, including talks with The Weeknd and Kendrick’s labels. However, UMG swiftly refuted these claims, asserting they’ve never meddled in the feud. According to TMZ, UMG sees the beef as solely between the artists, separate from business matters. Understandably, UMG is staying out of it, given the streaming benefits they’re enjoying from the showdown.
