Ray J Claps Back HARD! 🔥 Files Explosive Countersuit Claiming Kim & Kris Masterminded the Sex Tape From Day One

Ray J Sues Kim Kardashian For Betraying Sex Tape Secret

Ray J is officially done playing nice with the Kardashian empire — and he’s firing legal shots of his own. The R&B star has launched a bombshell countersuit against Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner after the two sued him for defamation, claiming the world-famous sex tape wasn’t leaked to Kim’s surprise… it was part of a coordinated plan.

According to new legal docs obtained by TMZ, Ray J says the truth is far different from the narrative pushed for nearly 20 years. He claims he and Kim consensually filmed the sex tape back in 2003 — and by 2006, the release of the tape was openly discussed, with Kim allegedly pushing to have Kris Jenner oversee the commercial rollout and profits.

Ray J accuses Kim and Kris of spending two decades selling the lie that the tape was leaked without Kim’s approval. He says their anger now comes from him refusing to “play along” anymore.

Kim and Kris’ attorney, Alex Spiro, fired back, calling Ray J’s account “disjointed rambling” and claiming the lawsuit won’t stand.

But Ray’s docs go even deeper.

He says that on The Kardashians, Kim, Kris, and even Ye (Kanye West) falsely accused him of:

  • sexually assaulting Kim while she was asleep
  • releasing revenge porn
  • extorting the family

Ray says these claims led him to initiate legal action, resulting in a settlement where Kim agreed to pay him $6 million and to stop referencing the tape on the show. But he alleges the Kardashians quickly violated that agreement with multiple statements on-air and online.

Ray J is seeking $1 million in damages.

He also addressed the “Kardashian RICO” comment that sparked the defamation suit, saying he wasn’t accusing them of crimes — but referencing parallels between their alleged conspiracies and RICO behavior. He says he even briefly considered filing a civil RICO claim against them.

Finally, Ray claims a hot-mic moment during a September 2025 livestream caught him saying:

“The feds is coming to investigate because I can’t be the dirty guy no more.”

He insists the comment wasn’t part of any coordinated accusation against the Kardashians.

As both sides gear up for court, it’s clear this feud is nowhere near finished — and the truth behind one of pop culture’s most famous scandals may finally come to light.
