Rapper Nelly will not face drug charges following his August arrest at a St. Louis-area casino, St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Wesley Bell confirmed Tuesday. Bell stated that after reviewing the facts, his office did not believe the case warranted criminal charges.

“We don’t believe the facts in this case warrant the issuing of charges,” Bell said in a statement.

Nelly, whose real name is Cornell Haynes Jr., was arrested early on August 7, 2024, while attempting to collect several jackpots at the Hollywood Casino & Hotel in Maryland Heights, Missouri.
