🛑 Ne-Yo Snaps — Grabs Fan By The Neck After Stage Runner Tries To Crash His Kobe Show

What was supposed to be a smooth night in Japan turned into a whole scene. On Saturday, Sept. 27, R&B superstar Ne-Yo was performing at Glion Arena in Kobe, Japan, when a concertgoer decided to jump the barrier and run up onto the stage during the singer’s 2007 hit “Because of You.”

Video clips that circulated online (and that Ne-Yo later reposted to his Instagram Story) show the fan hopping up the stairs from the pit, cutting into the performance while Ne-Yo and two backup dancers tried to keep the vibe going. At first the team tried to ignore the intruder, but when the fan moved toward center stage, Ne-Yo put a stop to it — grabbing the individual by the neck and pushing him back as security moved in.

Ne-Yo didn’t hold back in his caption while sharing the clip:

“This is what you DON’T do. I’m a gentleman but I WILL slap the shit out of a person disrespecting my stage.”

“And then keep the party going. Don’t try me it’s all love until it’s not.”
