Ne-Yo is opening up about the backlash he says he’s faced over his polyamorous lifestyle—and according to the R&B star, it’s costing him money.

During a recent appearance on the Sorry We’re Cyrus podcast with Tish and Brandi Cyrus, the “So Sick” singer revealed that some business opportunities reportedly disappeared after companies learned about his relationship setup involving multiple women.

“The world is mad at the fact that I’m in a polyamorous relationship,” Ne-Yo said. “There’s deals that I missed out on because they’re like, ‘We don’t know if we can get behind the whole polyamorous thing.’”

The singer explained that despite treating people with respect and honesty, he feels public judgment quickly changes once people disagree with personal lifestyle choices.

Ne-Yo also shared details about his home life, saying he currently lives together with his three girlfriends—Arielle Hill, Cristina, and Moneii—along with their children.

“We are a family. We love each other, and it’s a beautiful thing,” he said, adding that the relationship dynamic is more about community and openness than what people assume online.

The Grammy winner explained that his approach to relationships changed following his divorce from ex-wife Crystal Renay. He said he made a promise to himself to never be dishonest in relationships again, even if the truth might be difficult for others to hear.

According to Ne-Yo, all of his partners are fully aware of the arrangement and chose to be part of it willingly.
