LeBron Says It’s Still Love for Drake Despite Rap Beef Fallout

Looks like the bond between Drake and LeBron James isn’t as tight as it once was.

The Los Angeles Lakers superstar recently addressed where things stand with his longtime friend after speculation that Drizzy iced him out for supporting Kendrick Lamar during last year’s explosive rap beef.

LeBron pulled up to Kendrick’s Juneteenth “Pop Out” concert and seemed to be rocking with K-Dot through the feud, which didn’t sit too well with Drake. Since then, Drizzy’s made some moves that fans think point to tension — like unfollowing Bron on social media, switching up a bar in “Nonstop” from “like I’m LeBron” to “but NOT LeBron”, and even covering his tattoo of James with Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Despite the signs, Bron says it’s all love on his side. Sitting down with Speedy Morman for “360 With Speedy”, the King kept it respectful:

“I’ll always wish him the best. Obviously, different places right now. Currently, he’s doing his thing, I’m doing my thing, but it’s always love, for sure.”

Whether Drake feels the same is another story. For now, the friendship that once felt unshakable seems to be caught up in the same storm that split hip hop down the middle.
