In a bombshell testimony during Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ongoing federal trial, rapper Kid Cudi took the stand and accused the music mogul of breaking into his home and later firebombing his Porsche with a Molotov cocktail.

Cudi, born Scott Mescudi, testified that he briefly dated Cassie Ventura in 2011 after she and Diddy had separated. In December of that year, Cassie called Cudi in a panic, claiming Diddy had found out about their relationship. Shortly after, Cudi said, his house was broken into — Christmas gifts were unwrapped, his dog was locked in the bathroom, and his security cameras had been tampered with.

He told the court the incident left his dog visibly traumatized. “I wanted to confront him. I wanted to fight him,” Cudi said on the stand, referencing his anger over the intrusion and the distress caused to his pet.

Soon after the break-in, Cudi said he received a call from his dog’s sitter — his Porsche was on fire in his driveway. He testified that a Molotov cocktail had been thrown into the car, and court photos confirmed the extent of the damage. Cudi said he believes Diddy was behind both the break-in and the arson.

According to Cudi, Diddy later told him over the phone, “I’m over here waiting for you.”

These claims align with other testimonies that paint a disturbing picture of Diddy’s behavior during this time. Diddy is currently facing federal charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and related offenses.
