Kandi Burruss Accuses Todd Tucker of Skipping Dad Duties Amid Divorce

Things are getting tense in Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker’s divorce, and the drama has officially moved back into the courtroom.

On Thursday, January 8, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star filed new court documents requesting a formal hearing to establish parenting time and child support, accusing her estranged husband of not pulling his weight — financially or as a parent.

According to Burruss’ filing, their children come with “significant monthly expenses,” including a nanny, school tuition, extracurricular activities, medical care, travel, birthday parties, and everyday living costs. She claims she has been covering all of these expenses alone, while Tucker allegedly contributes nothing.

Burruss also alleges Tucker has been vacationing internationally during the divorce, despite not helping with the kids’ expenses or paying the mortgage on their marital home. In the filing, she states that Tucker is a self-employed entrepreneur who is capable of contributing financially.

But the sharpest jab came when Burruss questioned Tucker’s role as an active father.

“Tucker does not exercise parenting time with the minor children on a significant basis,” her filing reads, adding that his involvement appears limited to “the façade of his two-to-three-minute social media videos chronicling his ‘Daddy Daycare.’”

She further accused Tucker of interfering with her custody time, claiming he tried to block the children from traveling with her to New York — despite advance notice and travel costs already being paid.

Tucker’s legal team isn’t engaging publicly. His attorney, Randall Kessler, responded by saying, “Rather than commenting to the press, we leave these matters to the court and what is in our properly filed documents.”

Just days earlier, Tucker pushed back against Burruss’ request for a confidentiality order, arguing that she has already made the divorce public through media appearances.

“[Burruss] has engaged in a public press tour,” Tucker’s motion stated, adding that sealing the case now appears to be an attempt to “control the narrative.”

As of now, a judge has not ruled on either the custody and support request or the confidentiality dispute — but it’s clear this divorce is far from quiet.
