In a moment that left fans both shocked and amused, popular streamer Kai Cenat had an awkward run-in with rapper Wale — and didn’t even realize who he was.
The viral clip shows Kai crossing paths with Wale during a on the parking lot of the 2025 BET Awards. Rather than greeting the DMV rapper with recognition, Kai appeared confused and didn’t acknowledge Wale as the chart-topping artist behind hits like “Lotus Flower Bomb” and “Ambition.”
Kai’s chat was quick to notice the snub, flooding the comments. some calling it “disrespectful,” others chalking it up to a generational disconnect.
